March already?! I'm pretty sure we just skipped February?
Bridesmaids by Jane Costello
We follow the life of Evie, who is at that age where all her friends are getting married and she can't seem to hold down a boyfriend for longer than a month. Within the first few chapters I was hooked and laughing away. It's defiantly a book you can't put down. On some occasions I was actually contemplating whether to miss my stop just so I could finish the page! I've already bought more books by the author and I'm sure I won't be disappointed.
The History Of Lucy's Love Life In 10.5 Chapters by Deborah Wright
Lucy has commitment issues and isn't sure her partner of 2 years is 'the one'. Her boss gives her a time machine and she tries to go back to her fun old self by visiting some of her favourite history lovers trying to find true love. I have to admit I found it very hard to get into the book. It wasn't until half way through I started to enjoy the book but I did feel irritated and frustrated with Lucy for constantly being indecisive with her boyfriend/ex. The book was ok but I felt it was dragged out a tad.
Where Have All the Boys Gone? by Jenny Colgan
The Glam Guide by Fleur De Force
I have been watching Fleur for a few years now so thought I would check out her book. I liked that the book has a little bit of everything from beauty to body image. The book is definitely more aimed for beginners. If you already know the basics I wouldn't recommend buying. Having said that the book looks amazing and illustrations are beautiful but would of liked a bit more of Fleur herself.
What books have you read in February?
