L'Oreal Paris Infallible Sculpt Foundation Medium/Dark Review

I went on the hunt for a new 'going out' foundation. I love my L'Oréal Infallible Foundation and will still be my go to. However, when I fake tan my shade doesn't match and I couldn't find a colour that matched in this range. I noticed L'Oreal Paris Infallible Sculpt Foundation Medium/Dark was new so thought I would give this a try.

The colour matched my tan perfectly! The formula is half the thickness of a regular foundation so was worried my redness wouldn't be covered but I had nothing to worry about as the coverage was great. I put 2 layers on as I like as much coverage as I can get but 1 would be fine.

I'm still a newbie to contouring but I like to attempt to cream contour on a night out. It blended so well with the L'Oreal Paris Infallible Sculpt Foundation. I was amazed at how natural the contour looked compared to when I've used other foundation bases. Once my makeup was done I felt flawless.

Now, I wanted to test the staying power so decided not to use a fixing spray. I went to a mates birthday at a club so as you can image the atmosphere was hot, sweaty and a lot of dancing and drinking. I wanted to really test this foundation! I thought it would be best not to touch up my makeup as well. My makeup was on at 8pm, I didn't properly check my face until 3:30am and O.M.G. Everything apart from my lipstick and a bit on my chin and nose was still intact. Even my highlighter which is usually the first to come off my face was still shinning brightly!

So far I am very impressed with this product and would highly recommend it. I also want to try more from this range and hope that they too will blow me away as much as this did.

Have you tried L'Oreal Paris Sculpting range?

  1. I saw this in Superdrug yesterday and was so tempted to pick it up. I prefer a full coverage so I decided not to, but I might have to give it a whirl - that's so interesting that your contour sat better on it!

    1. Honestly give it a try. I had the same doubts. I guess there is a reason it's a contour base x
