What I got for my birthday

So on August the 23rd I turned 23! I celebrated early with my friends and spent the evening with my family and boyfriend on the actual day. Considering we don't really give many presents on peoples birthdays, (we're more of a Christmas family), I think I did pretty well. I got everything I wanted and more.

The hunt for the perfect birthday dress

Finding a birthday dress is hard. It's even harder when you realise that you have gained a few pounds and now your usual go to style of dress makes you feel self conscious. I wanted something that would make me stand out but also in a style that would make me appear thinner and suck all the pudge in.
