Sea Salt Restaurant - Beckenham

I love going out to eat up London but sometimes it's nice to eat closer to home.
For my sisters birthday we decided to try out the restaurant Sea Salt in Beckenham. As you can assume by the name they specialise in fish dishes however they do have other options to pick from.

Starter -  Mussels in a white wine and cream sauce

If there are mussels on the menu I will be ordering them as they are my fav! I always worry about a white wine sauce because it can be bitter. O.M.G how wrong I was to doubt the sauce. It was amazing. So creamy and the mussels were done just right. Honestly, they were the best mussels I have ever tasted and I would come back here just to experience this dish again!

Main - Seafood tagliatelle (a mixture of fish and shell fish in a cream sauce)

(Argh I didn't realise my finger was poking in)

This dish was good but it didn't blow me away like my starter did. I found that it was just a tad to salty for my liking. Saying that, I still ate it all. My parents had the fillet steak with peppercorn sauce. This looked, smelt and tasted amazing and I will be ordering this at my next visit.

Dessert - Lemon sorbets

We got a very generous amount for dessert. I am a pig and ate it all to myself but this could definitely get away as a sharing dish.

The staff were great. Very friendly and willing to help and advise. They even stuck a candle in my sister dessert and gave her a small complementary glass of prosecco. The price is very reasonable considering the quality of the food you receive. I would recommend this restaurant and I am looking forward to my next visit.

Can someone please tell me where I can get a glass like this?
