Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs Lotion Medium Review

I used to be a fake tan junky. All through secondary school I was orange. Now I only use it when I go on a night out. My go to fake tan is a gradual tan. Even though it can be a long process I feel like it gives the best results. However, for spontaneous plans this is no good to me. I wanted something that looked natural, non streaky, dried quickly and wouldn't go all over my clothes and sheets. Not asking for much am I?
After a browse I noticed Sally Hansen tan had some great reviews especially her spray tan. And it was reasonably priced too. But when I got to Superdrug they were sold out! I decided to pick up Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs Lotion in medium. It claimed to do everything I was looking for and it was on sale! Less than £10.

Now when I first squeezed the produced out I was a bit surprised by the consistency.

As you can see it is very thick, reminds me of a full coverage foundation. On the packaging it does say 'leg makeup' so maybe that's why. The application itself was pretty easy. I was in a rush so I quickly buffed the tan into my legs. Even though I was doing this carelessly there were no streaks! And it was dry within a few minutes.

I really like the colour of the Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs Lotion. I felt like I had a natural glow instead of an orange mess. Which believe me I have gone out looking like before! There is a slight smell but nothing overpowering.

Now did it last on a night out? I have very clumsy mates when their drunk and tbh I'm not the best when I've had a drink either. Drinks were spilt and occasionally landed over my legs. Was I now patchy? Nope, my legs still looked fabulous. Not a patch in sight. I don't know how it will handle in rain though! Fast forward to the next morning and my sheets are tan free. When I looked at my legs I actually forgot I had tan on. Not because it had faded but because it looked so natural.

I'm really impressed with the Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs Lotion. It's good to know that I won't have to worry about my legs on nights out! I will definitely repurchase this but because you need such little amount of product tI won't be buying any time soon. Result!

Have you tried any of the Sally Hansen fake tans?

  1. I have the spray version which I'm yet to use as I'm a fake tan virgin and like you have a gradual tanning moisturiser I prefer but I might try it one day when I can explain why my legs are a different colour to everything else lol x
